Bulls outplay sloppy Sharks

The Vodacom Bulls showed no signs of rustiness when they adapted to the wet conditions perfectly to be the Cell C Sharks 40-10 in a Super Rugby match at Jonsson Kings Park on Saturday.

The win saw the Bulls move to second place on the South African conference table with 14 points, the same as the Sharks, who have played a game more.

Despite enjoying some good possession in attacking areas on the day, the Sharks were let down by handling errors and failed to convert their chances. In the end they only managed to score one try, compared to the Bulls’ six.

Looking at the main log, the Sharks are now in 10th place, two places away from the playoff spots.

With another home match against the Stormers coming up this Saturday, Robert Du Preez’ men will have to do a quick analysis of their performance and find a way to correct their errors, as another home defeat might spell trouble and kill the morale following a rollercoaster tour Down Under.
