International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, says the tripartite mechanism between South Africa, Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo complements the work done by SADC.

Nkoana Mashabane is currently in Angola where officials from the three countries will check on the progress of their agreement.

"We are guided by the commitment to ensure that we achieve and maintain peace, security and stability in our region, in the three countries and in particular in the DRC, so that our people also get the peace dividend" says Nkoana Mashabane.
