Singh dissatisfied with Eskoms transastions

Former Eskom Chief Financial Officer Anoj Singh, says it was necessary for Eskom to conclude its transactions with Tageta on time,  to avoid emergency situations.

Singh has been testifying to the Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Public Enterprises in Parliament, investigating the mismanagement of state funds at Eskom.

He was suspended by the power utility in September last year, after being placed on special leave at the end of July.

This followed allegations that he was involved in *irregularly awarding contracts to Gupta-linked businesses.

Singh says he can't produce any minutes of the meeting with Tegeta,  as he was suspended.
