Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana relinquished their lead and ended up with a 2-2 draw in their historic clash with Chile at Estadio Santa Laura in Santiago.

The fixture took place in the early hours of this morning South African time (Wednesday, 10 October).


Seventeen players will get together in Port Elizabeth on Friday when they will start their preparations for the final two Tests in the Castle Lager Rugby Championship, next Saturday, 29 September against Australia in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, and a week later against New Zealand at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.


Banyana Banyana are through to the final of the 2018 COSAFA Women’s Championship and will face Central African guest nation Cameroon, after both sides won their semifinal matches on Thursday, 20 September at the Wolfson Stadium, in Port Elizabeth.


The SPAR Netball Proteas get their 2018-2019 Sanzea Quad Series campaign under way on Saturday morning when they take on the Australian Diamonds in Auckland, New Zealand.
