It’s always a hard pill to swallow for supporters when one of their star players has to be transferred to another club and the recent victim of this sports-related heartache is a four-year old Manchester United fan.


Bangladesh confirmed their rise as a major force in 50 overs cricket when they thrashed the Castle Lager Proteas by 9 wickets in the third One-Day International at Chittagong on Wednesday to claim a 2-1 series victory.

It was their first ever series victory over the Proteas in any format.


Athletics South Africa (ASA) has announced the team for the IAAF Senior World Championships, scheduled for 22 to 30 August 2015 in Beijing, China.

Only athletes who qualified on performance are included in the team and any athletes that may qualify as the African Champion must still prove their level of fitness to the selectors.
